In order to create sustainable mobility, a solution is needed that consists of several building blocks.
Our focus is on building a nationwide infrastructure, including the expansion of hydrogen refueling stations and other key areas of activity.
Our process uses renewable electricity from solar, wind or hydroelectric power to split water into oxygen and hydrogen through electrolysis. The result is emission-free H2 production because the electricity comes from renewable sources and does not produce any harmful emissions.
In its pure form, at room temperature and under normal pressure, H2 is gaseous, which explains its low density. This property makes the transportation and storage of hydrogen particularly challenging. But we have found a way: The supply of the filling stations is guaranteed by swap containers.
Our public hydrogen filling stations play a crucial role in the implementation of a sustainable transportation transition. A dense network of public stations, rapid refueling at 350 or 700 bar and a modern payment system provide easy access to a sustainable energy carrier for transport.
Hydrogen vehicles help to reduce air pollution and CO2 emissions in the transportation sector. Compared to battery-electric vehicles, which take time to recharge, hydrogen-powered vehicles can be refuelled in minutes. Infrastructure development will be a key driver of hydrogen vehicle adoption.
For our B2B customers, we design hydrogen refueling stations according to their individual requirements. These can include aspects such as the amount of hydrogen needed, the required refueling capacity, the choice of location, or integration into existing energy management systems.

Mint Hydrogen
belongs to
MorGen Energy
Since 2021, MorGen Energy, a Trafigura Group company, has been advancing major projects across the hydrogen value chain. Key projects include the 1 GW Njordkraft green hydrogen project in Esbjerg, Denmark, and a 20 MW green hydrogen project in Milford Haven, South Wales. Mint Hydrogen, as a subsidiary of MorGen Energy, is responsible for developing and managing a network of hydrogen refuelling stations. This includes strategically placing regional sites, depot refuelling stations, and mobility hubs to establish a cohesive, accessible nationwide refuelling network in the long-term.
